Musafir Homestay, is located at an altitude of 1575m surrounded by pristine pine jungles on all four sides. blessed with the mighty Dhauladhar range as the backdrop the property offers beautiful vies of the Palampur valley at the front.
Being 7 kms away from the main city, the Homestay provides you access to great outdoors. Staying with us you will experience things that you might never be able to feel in the mundane hustle bustle of city life here you hear the sounds of water rustling somewhere in the valley, bees buzzing the morning rhymes, peacocks screaming in the pine jungle, birds singing on trees and much more. Being in the forest, looking for different kinds of birds has been favorite morning pass time of our guests.
We have our own organic farms where we are either planting, taking care or harvesting, fruits, flowers and vegetables all round the year. Roaming in the garden and learning the know how of organic farming is an experience we offer.
Our Cottages
We try to give you the closest experience to the mountain life while staying with us. All our cottages have attached bathroom with basic modern amenities.
The cottages are decorated with hand painted paintings and murals. Just sitting in our outdoor spaces with seasonal flowers growing and listening to the sound of wind blowing through pine needles is rejuvenating in itself.
As the name suggests Musafir is a home that belongs to no one. Ironically the connection that you feel here will stay on for a lifetime, be it with us, or the nature.

Property Layout
The property entrance directly brings you to the parking area and the two mud cottages. stairs will lead you to the other cottage. Walking alongside the signs you will be led to the dining area, the Dastarkhwan. The property has a hilly terrain and thus stairs are an integral part of every corner. Ideally, the two mud cottages are meant for a couple and two children, each. The bigger cottage has accommodation of 6 adults. Extra occupancy is chargeable.
Check-in & Check-out
Standard check-in time is 12 PM and check out at 11 AM.
Booking
We take bookings for single nights as well. Though it would not sufficient to experience the valley.
Recommended Stays
We recommend our guests to stay with us for at least two nights. However, we are taking bookings for one night as well. There is so much to see and do in the valley.
Discount!!
We offer discounts to guests staying for more than six days. Please feel free to inquire.
No Smoking
No smoking in bedrooms and toilets.
Extra Accommodation
Accommodation for maids and drivers can be arranged at extra cost. Kindly let us know in advance. Surprises are not entertained.

No loud music is permissible.
